Thank You!

On behalf of all of the victims we serve, thank you for your interest in supporting the programs and services of the Sexual Assault Center of Pierce County (SACPC).

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Sexual Assault Center of Pierce County relies heavily on both public and private support. Given the uncertainty of government funding and the growing need for our services, we are striving to increase unrestricted giving from individuals, corporations, and foundations.   Donations are tax deductible.

You can help….

The success of the Center depends on the support we receive from the community, without it we simply could not do this important work.

Contributions of all sizes make a large difference.

For Example:

  • $55 allows a trained advocate to accompany and support a victim during the medical exam, which could take from 2 to 6 hours to complete (4 hours estimated).
  • $85 helps fund one hour of caring, compassionate counseling to a victim in our community.
  • $255 teaches three classes of 20 students how to reduce the risk of sexual assault or bullying. (This includes materials.)
  • $500 supports a day of our 24-hour Information, Referral and Crisis Line with advocates available for direct assistance.

Donate by Mail

Just mail in your tax-deductible donation to:

Matching Gifts Program

Many employers have a matching gifts program, in which the company will match an employee's donation to a charity.  Your company's Human Resources office can tell you if your company offers this benefit.  A matching gift will do twice as much to help us provide critical support.

How does the program work?  Simply mail us your company's matching gifts form along with your contribution.  Be sure to indicate that your donation is for the Sexual Assault Center of Pierce County.  We'll take it from there!

Please mail to:

Development Manager
Sexual Assault Center of Pierce County
633 North Mildred, Suite J
Tacoma , WA 98406-1725
